Abstract

Three serially arranged device rollers feed the yarn through a pref. heated drawing zone and a false twisting zone, the first roller defining the draw-off roller from the yarn supply package and the inlet to the drawing zone, the second roller defining the outlet of the drawing zone and the inlet of the false twisting zone, and the third roller defining the outlet of the false twisting zone and the feed roller to a yarn package support. Pref. an associated endless freely movable apron co-operates with each roller, and pref. the rollers are driven from a common drive by an endless belt. Accurates control over the supply of yarn from one zone to another is economically achieved.
