Abstract
Water in oil emulsion comprises unsatd. polyester (derived from polycarboxylic acid and polyol), vinyl monomer (pref. styrene) cross linking agent, water and as emulsifying agent, either benzyldimethylamine, trimethylhexamethylene diamine, 1-amino 3aminomethyl 3,5,5-trimethylcyclohexane, or morpholine. Gives water extended polyester resin used as moulding compsn. wood substitute, a hydraulic cement.
