Or,
<EMI ID=1.1>

<EMI ID=5.1>
<EMI ID=6.1>
<EMI ID=7.1>

Receptacle for refuse, in particular for household refuse evacuator-compactor and evacuator-compactor comprising such a receptacle. The present invention relates to an improved receptacle intended to receive household refuse, or other, with a view, in particular, to their. compaction and their disposal in the compacted state.
The known containers, whether they are used alone or whether they are used in conjunction with compactor systems are very generally provided with a bag, of any suitable material which lines them completely inside, both as regards their bottom as well as their internal wall.
The major drawback of these known containers arises from the fact that the removal of the inner bag requires the extraction of the latter. Gold,
most of the time, due to the nature of certain waste and garbage, and almost inevitably when this waste or garbage is compacted, tears occur in the internal bag, through which a large amount of waste and garbage is likely to pass . Such troublesome consequences follow
that polluting s.
The present invention relates to a garbage receptacle, the design of which makes it possible to completely avoid the drawbacks of known receptacles.
The container according to the invention is characterized essentially by
that it has no bottom and in that the bag, used in conjunction with the container, wraps it on the outside, instead of lining the inside of said container.
Thanks to the arrangements adopted according to the invention, the pressure and
raguage from garbage and waste, especially in the case of compaction, is no longer exerted on the bag itself, but on the receptacle, the material of which is by nature much more resistant than that of which the bag is made: This the latter will therefore not be damaged. In addition, its removal, by the lower part
of the container, will be very easy.
<EMI ID = 1.1>
The container according to the invention can, of course,
be used alone; however, it can also be used advantageously in an installation for the removal and compaction of household refuse from individual dwellings (such as pavilions, villas and the like) such as that also forming part of the invention.
Such an installation, comprising a garbage drawer, placed in a room - most often the kitchen - of a home, pivoted on an exterior wall of the home and a compactor-evacuator device to which the garbage and waste from the building are brought. garbage drawer is essentially characterized by the fact that the compactor-evacuator device is placed in an exterior wall of the dwelling and separated from the interior thereof by an insulating partition formed advantageously by a formwork, for example metallic, filled with 'a material endowed with insulating properties.
An embodiment of the invention has been described below by way of non-limiting example, it being made clear that other shapes, proportions and arrangements could be adopted without departing from the scope of the invention.
In this description, reference is made to the accompanying drawings which show:

refuse container according to the invention, FIG. 2 a view similar to FIG. May 1 with partial tearing, after separation of the constituents of the container, for the removal of the bag containing the garbage. Fig. 3 an elevational view, in section of the apparatus, the garbage drawer in the open position. Fig. 4 and 5 partial sectional views of the garbage drawer and of the double shut-off system, the drawer being closed
(Fig. 4) and the drawer in the closed position (Fig. 5). Fig. 6 a partial perspective view of the system. double shutter. Fig. 7 a plan view from above of this system. Fig. 8 to 10 schematic views of the operation of the system.
As seen in Figs. 1 and Z of the accompanying drawings,
<EMI ID = 3.1> <EMI ID = 4.1>
The edge of this bag is first folded inwards over
the edge of the container. A retaining ring is applied on this edge
13, for example of U-shaped section. The edge of the bag is then folded outwards to be held in this position by a clamp 14. Any other system than that described by way of example in the embodiment chosen can, moreover, be adopted.
<EMI ID = 5.1>
since the bag (of any desired material, such as plastic) is on the outside, and not on the inside of the container, the pressure and the raguage exerted by the waste take place on the wall of the container and not on the bag. It will therefore not be damaged.
In order to remove the waste and refuse, compacted or not, unlike what happens for conventional containers, it is, also thanks to the arrangements according to the invention, the container that is removed.
<EMI ID = 6.1>
In fact, it suffices to remove the system for fixing the bag to the container to separate the bag from the container by lifting the container by
<EMI ID = 7.1>
Since the container 10 is bottomless, the last comes out very easily and the plastic bag 12 remains on the floor, intact, with all of its contents. However, the assembly can be transported without inconvenience for depositing the bag at the desired location.
The shape of the container 10 can be any: it can be, as in the example treated, parallelepipedal, but it can also be that of a solid of revolution, such as cylindrical, frustoconical etc. To facilitate waste disposal, the container has an internal skin; and as seen in FIG. 2, the interior dimension of the lower base of the container is greater than the interior dimension of its upper base.
The container according to the invention can advantageously be used in an installation for the removal and compaction of household refuse for individual dwellings which will now be described, with reference to FIGS. 3 to 10 of the accompanying drawings.
The installation is composed, as can be seen in particular on
<EMI ID = 8.1> <EMI ID = 9.1>
the dwelling, the assembly C forming a receptacle being placed at the outlet of a corridor D, forming a conduit for garbage.
According to the invention, the compactor system B and the assembly C forming a receptacle for the refuse are placed in the exterior wall 1
of the dwelling and separated from the inside thereof by a partition E of suitable thickness, consisting of a metal formwork filled with a material,
or of a material, insulation such as in particular foamed plastic material,
of low bulk density, polystyrene for example. This hermetic partition plays a double role not only it allows to isolate the mechanism
compactor and the receptacle, so that no odor enters the kitchen, but also acts as thermal and acoustic insulation.
In the partition E is made the corridor D by which are evacuated
towards the compactor the waste placed in the garbage door constituted by the drawer 1 5, pivotally mounted on the partition E.
According to another characteristic of the invention, the closure of the corridor D - except of course when the waste is removed - is always double.
This obturation is ensured: <EMI ID = 10.1>
15 is in the open position to receive the waste,
- by the rear (or interior) hatch 16a and the bottom 15a of the drawer when the latter is in the closed position.
The front hatch and the drawer are linked together in the example chosen, by the following kinematics:
<EMI ID = 11.1>
<EMI ID = 12.1>
of an axis 18, arranged on each side of the device and driven by a system of pinions 19, 19a.
When pivoting in both directions, the drawer 1 5 will bring,
<EMI ID = 13.1>
closing the drawer (Fig. 4) in the other in the lower position, corresponding to the opening position of the drawer (position shown in Fig. 3)

integral with the front hatch 1 6. The drive means? 1 which can take any suitable shape moves in a guide 2 3 angled at 23a
<EMI ID = 18.1>
By assumption, we start from the "open" position of the drawer 1 5, with double closure by the hatches. In this position, which is that of
<EMI ID = 19.1>
the two hatches.
<EMI ID = 20.1>
during its ascent to the top of the device.
However, the drive means engaging in the bent portions 23a of the guides 23, the drive fingers 21 pivot apart.
<EMI ID = 21.1>
falls down by its own weight. (see Fig. 9). We are then in the "closed" position of the drawer with double closure by the rear hatch 16a and the bottom 15a of the drawer (Fig. 5).
To prevent the rear hatch from falling too suddenly,
it is conceivable to slow down its fall by means of shock absorbers, preferably pneumatic s.
When the drawer is brought into the open position, the drive means 21 will meet the latches 20 which retract, (Fig. 10) then

Thanks to the arrangements adopted according to the invention, when the drawer is full or at any useful moment, it suffices to push the drawer back, the hatches

This mechanism comprises a piston 25 moving in assembly B by any suitable means, for example by a system comprising a plate 26 which is integral with the piston 25 and which moves thanks to sleeves 27 progressing along four threaded rods 28 regularly arranged at the four corners of the plate, the sleeves being driven in
