Description

 <EMI ID=3.1>

  "Public and industrial lighting jib crane".

The present invention relates to public and industrial lighting brackets and aims to produce such orientable brackets.

Lighting poles usually consist of a pole, the upper part of which for supporting the lighting fixture is curved so that the axis of the lighting fixture makes an angle with the vertical axis. of said mast. This angle is fixed and depends on the curvature given to the upper part of the stem.

We have also already produced back lighting brackets consisting of two elements, a vertical mast and a console mounted at a certain angle to the upper part of the mast. Here too, the angle is chosen in advance and cannot be changed.

It appeared advantageous according to the invention to create a lighting bracket, in which the angular position of the lighting apparatus can be easily changed.

A public and industrial lighting bracket according to the invention is characterized in that it consists of a vertical pole on which is mounted a bracket serving as a mounting support for the lighting apparatus, an articulation being provided between said mast and said console.

In order to better understand the invention, it is now described on the basis of the accompanying drawing, by way of example only, showing by:
Figure 1 an elevational view of a lighting bracket according to the invention; Figure 2 a plan view.

As can be seen in the drawing, the gallows represented

Aluminum round section hollow. At its top, this mast is clamped between two flanges 2 and a fixed connection between mast and flanges is obtained by two bolts 3.

The flanges 2 protrude from one side of the mast to

and which serves as a bracket for supporting a lighting apparatus, or any other suitable apparatus such as a light signaling apparatus, outside the axis of the mast. The tube 4 is pivotally mounted between the flanges 2 via an articulation pin 5, which is advantageously a bolt.

To maintain the console 4 in the desired angular position, two slides 6 facing each other are provided in the flanges 2 and in these two slides is housed a bolt 7 passing through the console tube 4. When the console is placed in its chosen angular position, the bolt 7 which, moving with the console, has slipped in the guide, is firmly tightened in place.

To prevent the console, despite the fixing of the bolts 5, 7, does not tend to lower under the weight of its equipment, it is provided according to the invention that the slide 6 has a half-moon shape arranged in convex in relation to the console. Thus, the bolt 7 is prevented from going up in the slide in case the console is lowered, since the distance between the bolts 5 and-7 is fixed. As a result, the console is well maintained in its angular position, which normally can vary from 0 [deg.] To 30 [deg.]

 <EMI ID = 3.1>

be able to adjust the inclination of the console at will despite this convexity of the slides 6, the holes 8 made in the flanges 2 for the passage of the axis 5 will be oblong and straight.

Instead of the convex slides, one can also provide in the flanges 2 straight oblong holes provided with sawtooth stops (not shown) allowing an angle selection of 5 [deg.] To 5 [deg.] and can bring a variation from 0 [deg.] to 30 [deg.].

An advantage of a bracket according to the invention also consists in that it is easily removable for storage and for transport. Its aluminum construction makes it particularly light.
