La main métallique épousant la poutrelle en bois.

  
La base du support est raccordée à deux câbles en acier opposés, munis chacun d'un tendeur.

  
Les extrémités des câbles en acier s'attachant à chaque bout de la poutrelle.

  
Par action sur les tendeurs, une pression est ainsi exercée sur la poutrelle et ce, vers le haut, obligeant celle-ci à reprendre une forme rectiligne.
