Description
"Onderrandafsluiting voor beglazingen, panelen en dergelijke" Deze uitvinding heeft betrekking op een onderrandafsluiting voor beglazingen, panelen en dergelijke, meer speciaal een onderrandafsluiting zoals deze gebruikt wordt in bijvoorbeeld de serrenbouw.
Meer speciaal nog heeft de huidige uitvinding betrekking
op een onderrandafsluiting voor panelen waarvan het bovenvlak niet volledig effen is, zoals men bijvoorbeeld bij serres kunststofpanelen kent die gevormd zijn door twee lagen doorzichtige kunststof die op een geschikte afstand van elkaar worden gehouden door over de ganse lengte van het paneel aangebrachte verbindingen tussen bovenlaag en onderlaag, waarbij deze verbindingen, zich op welbepaalde afstanden herhalen, afstanden die bijvoorbeeld van de orde zijn van een viertal centimeter.
Het bovenvlak van deze panelen is van de ene verbinding naar de andere lichtjes gegolfd waardoor, met de tot op heden bekende van een afsluitprofiel voorziene panelen geen waterdichte afsluiting wordt verkregen, met als hoofdzakelijk nadeel dat er in de panelen zelf water terechtkomt, respektievelijk blijft staan, waardoor deze aan hun onderrand, na verloop van tijd, een minder doorzichtig gedeelte vertonen waarvan de oorzaak te zien is in het vuil dat met het hemelwater tot in deze panelen wordt gevoerd en daar gedurende een bepaalde tijd op de binnenwand van deze panelen, die later niet te reinigen is, kan inwerken.
Alhoewel de uitvinding meer speciaal betrekking heeft op
een afdichting van het voornoemd soort panelen is het vanzelfsprekend dat zij toepasbaar is voor om het even welke andere panelen.
De onderrand afsluiting volgens de uitvinding bestaat tot dit doel hoofdzakelijk uit een nagenoeg L-vormig profiel dat een onderste draagvlak vertoont voor de glasroeden; een hogerliggend draagvlak vertoont voor de panelen die op de glasroeden rusten; minstens een aanslag voor de glasroeden; minstens een aanslag voor de panelen; boven ieder der voornoemde draagvlakken waterafvoer-gaten en middelen waarmede een afdichtingsband voor de voornoemde panelen kan samenwerken ten einde deze laatste tegen het L-vormig profiel te drukken.
Met het inzicht de kenmerken van de uitvinding beter aan
te tonen is hierna als voorbeeld zonder enig beperkend karakter, een voorkeurdragende uitvoeringsvorm beschreven met verwijzing naar de bijgaande tekeningen, waarin :
figuur 1 een dwarsdoorsnede weergeeft doorheen een onderrandafsluiting volgens de uitvinding; figuur 2 een doorsnede weergeeft volgens lijn II-II in figuur 1.
In de bij gaande figuren is op de bovenrand van het gootpaneel 1 een profiel 2 volgens de uitvinding aangebracht dat onderaan een draagvlak 3 vertoont voor de glasroeden 4 en dat in het midden een draagvlak 5 vertoont voor panelen 6, waarbij de vrije uiteinden van dit draagvlak 5 als stootrand dient voor de voornoemde glasroeden 4.
