Abstract

La lampe à incandescence à l'halogène présente des entrées de courant (10, 9, 3; 10, 9, 4), dont l'une (10, 9, 3) est enfermée par un tube d'isolation (8) s'étendant du filament (7) jusqu'à l'extrémité de l'entrée de courant située dans l'intérieur (5) de l'ampoule (1). Le tube d'isolation (8) protège la lampe pendant le fonctionnement contre l'explosion à la fin de sa durée de vie. La rapidité à laquelle s'éteint un arc à décharge peut etre augmentée lorsque les deux entrées de courant sont enfermées chacune par un tube d'isolation propre (8) et est en outre plus élevée lorsque de l'azote ou de l'hélium est utilisé comme gaz inerte.
