Abstract

Les aggomérés consistent essentiellement en un mélange de combustible solide finement divisé, notamment du charbon, et de composé asphalténique, obtenu par traitement, à l'aide d'un solvant hydrocarboné paraffinique, du résidu de distillation du pétrole. On les prépare en mélangeant le combustible finement divisé avec le composé asphalténique concassé ou fondu, puis on amène le mélange à la forme désirée par compression. Ces agglomérés peuvent etre utilisés directement comme combustibles, sans qu'il soit nécessaire de les soumettre à un traitement prélable de défumage.
