Abstract
Le procédé est caractérisé en ce que l'on ajoute, après achèvement de la réaction thermique, au laitier encore liquide un produit convenable susceptible d'augmenter la conductibilité électrique du laitier, tel que du spath fluor et en ce qu'on réchauffe le bain électro-thermique, tout en le traitant avec un supplément d'agent de réduction pendant une durée déterminée empiriquement jusqu'à ce que sensiblement la totalité d'oxyde métallique encore présent dans le laitier ait réagi et que le métal ainsi formé ait migré vers la phase métallique du bain. Application aux processus sidérurgiques de préparation de métaux et d'alliages à partir de minerais.
