Abstract

Ce procédé consiste à chauffer, seuls ou mélangés à d'autres supports de carbone solides, dans un courant d'entrainement, des oxydes métalliques chargés de supports de carbone solides et/ou liquides, à une température d'environ 600 degrés C, à mélanger lesdits oxydes métalliques à du charbon gras agglomérant préchauffé à 360 degrés C au plus, à dégoudronner et briqueter le mélange résultant à une température de 500 degrés C +- 40 degrés C, et à soumettre les briquettes ainsi obtenues à un traitement de réduction pyrométallurgique en vue de récupérer les métaux contenus dans lesdites briquettes.
