Abstract

L'appareil chauffant comprend une couche de base (1) de matière thermiquement isolante (fibres céramiques ou isolant microporeux), une source de rayonnement infrarouge, telle qu'une paire de lampes à rayonnement infrarouge (3,4) et un réflecteur (7) spéculaire ou à diffusion, placé pour renvoyer le rayonnement infrarouge émis par la source, vers la couche de matière thermiquement isolante. Le réflecteur spéculaire peut etre un revetement métallique réfléchissant, déposé à l'intérieur ou à l'extérieur de la source, ou un réflecteur diffusant (par exemple d'alumine en fines particules) déposé à la surface extérieure de la source.
