Abstract

Ce chateau de stockage de combustible nucléaire épuisé comprend une enveloppe de confinement comportant une multiplicité d'ailettes (68) de forme allongée dont chacune comprend un élément métallique (84) comportant une paire de cotés (70,74) qui se raccordent dans une région de sommet courbée (78) et qui ont des bords de base espacés (72,76) fixés à la périphérie de ladite enveloppe. Une couche protectrice (84) est accolée à l'élément métallique dans ladite région de sommet et au moins dans une partie de chaque coté. Une matière (100) absorbant les neutrons est disposée entre les cotés de chaque ailette pour absorber les neutrons.
