Compositions contenant du 1,2,4-triazole-3-carboxamide, du 1,2,4-triazole-3-thiocarboxamide ou des sels physiologiquement compatibles de ceux-ci, pour inhiber le développement des infections provoquées par le virus de la grippe, sa forme para (parainfluenza) et l'herpès-virus chez des animaux à sang chaud, ainsi que le rhinovirus, le virus de la rougeole et le virus de la vaccine dans des cultures cellulaires, à titre d'agents antiviraux, et méthode d'utilisation de ces compositons.Compositions containing 1,2,4-triazole-3-carboxamide, 1,2,4-triazole-3-thiocarboxamide or physiologically compatible salts thereof, for inhibiting the development of infections caused by the influenza virus , its para (parainfluenza) form and herpes virus in warm-blooded animals, as well as rhinovirus, measles virus and vaccinia virus in cell cultures, as antiviral agents, and method of use of these compositons.
