Abstract
On réduit sensiblement le bouillonnement dans les piles électrochimiques comportant des anodes métalliques, par exemple en zinc, en réduisant le nombre des grains dans les particules du métal polycristallin jusqu'à moins un tiers du nombre initial des grains, cette réduction étant provoquée par un traitement thermique du métal d'anode à une température inférieure à son point de fusion, la corrosion étant réduite avec ces particules à nombre réduit de grains et en particulier avec des particules monocristallines par l'addition dans la pile de petites quantités d'un agent tensio-actif inhibiteur de dégagement de gaz, par exemple un phosphate organique.
