Abstract
Fabrication de perles de verre à faible teneur en éléments alcalins. Des particules d'une composition formatrice de verre contenant moins de 15 % en poids de sodium et potassium (calculé sous forme oxyde) et contenant de l'eau liée chimiquement sont vitrifiées et sphérulisées par chauffage et les perles résultantes sont ensuite refroidies. L'invention permet de fabriquer des perles pleines et creuses de compositions très diverses, entre autres, des perles vitrocéramiques.
