Description

MECANISME MONOBLOC DE SOUPAPE DE CHASSE DE W.C.

A TROP-PLEIN INCORPORE.

MONOBLOCK MECHANISM OF HUNTING VALVE OF W.C.

TOO FULL INCORPORATED.

W.C. HUNTING VALVE MECHANISM

The present invention relates to a valve control mechanism for a toilet flush.

So-called "universal" flush valve control mechanisms are known which are suitable for various models of tank. However, these known devices do not adapt the passage opening to the height of the tank and therefore to the water pressure. As a result, the proper functioning of the flush and the efficiency in rinsing the water sent to the toilet tank is reduced. Furthermore, the known control mechanisms which adapt to various heights of the cistern generally do not allow the cover to be fixed to its reservoir. In addition, the so-called "universal" control mechanisms comprising strings adjustable in length or foldable rods easily adjustable in length do not ensure proper operation in complete safety and fixability.

By Belgian patent n [deg.] 644,889, a toilet flush valve control mechanism is also known, comprising an operating button screwed onto a freely sliding tube inside an external tube provided at its upper part with '' an external thread on which is screwed a retaining nut on the tank cover. The lower part of the outer tube is secured in a reinforcement of the horizontal part of an easel, the two feet of which are secured to an annular base cut out in the middle to form the seat of the valve suspended by a rod sliding freely in the inner tube. .

The annular base possibly including a connection for an overflow is extended downwards by a cylindrical part of smaller diameter provided with an external thread on which is screwed a nut comprising a cylindrical upper rim and a part below six planes for allow clamping on the bottom of the tank with the interposition of an intermediate seal. The drawback of the aforementioned device lies in the fact that it cannot be adapted to several models of cistern, since it is not adjustable and it is therefore necessary to provide as many mechanisms as there are. has tank models.

The aim of the present invention is to provide a flush valve control mechanism for WCs which does not have the abovementioned drawbacks. The mechanism according to the present invention must allow the fixing of the cover on the flush tank and be adaptable to various tank models.

According to the present invention, the toilet flush valve control mechanism comprises a valve seat constituting a fixing base, an elastic valve with free fall on said seat and possibly an overflow pipe adaptable on the mounting base and communicating with the opening of the valve seat, an inner tube provided with an operating button, sliding freely inside an outer tube having, at its upper part, a retaining means on the cover of the tank and at its lower part, an external thread engaged in the horizontal part of an easel whose two feet are integral with said base, the elastic valve being lifted from its seat by a rod sliding freely in the inner tube.

The mechanism according to the present invention is characterized in that the two feet of the bridge are adjustable in height. It is easily understood that therefore, the control mechanism can be adapted to the height of the tank by moving the level of the upper part of the outer tube comprising the retaining means on the tank cover. To do this, the rod lifting the elastic valve and sliding freely in the inner tube must have a sufficient length, so that, when the easel is adjusted to its highest level, this always allows the valve to be housed in waterproof in its seat. Furthermore, it is also necessary that, when the operating button integral with the inner tube can rest at its lowest level without being hampered by said rod.

Thanks to the use of a retaining means, preferably an external thread and a centering nut, on the external tube, the cover is centered and held in position on the reservoir.

According to a particularly advantageous embodiment, the feet of the easel comprise a threaded part engaging in two holes made at the ends of the horizontal part of said easel, the latter being held in position by each time two nuts, a lower nut and a top nut.

The arrangement according to the present invention allows particularly reliable operation of the control mechanism according to the present invention.

In addition the mounting and adaptation thereof to a hunting tank is particularly easy.

The invention is described in more detail below in support of the figures in which:
FIG. 1 is an elevation view of a control mechanism according to the present invention, and
- Figure 2 is a side view.

With reference to the figures, identical reference marks represent identical or analogous elements.

With reference to the figures, the control mechanism 1 comprises an operating button 3 screwed onto an inner tube 5 sliding freely inside an outer tube 7 provided at its upper part with an external thread 9 onto which is screwed a retaining nut 11 on the tank cover. The lower part of the outer tube 7 passes through and is secured in a reinforcement 13 of the horizontal part 15 of an easel, the two feet 17 and 19 of which are secured to an annular base 21 cut out in the middle to form the seat of the valve 23 suspended by a rod 25 sliding freely in the inner tube 5.

The annular base 21 is extended downwards by a cylindrical part of smaller diameter provided with an external thread 27 on which a nut 29 is screwed comprising a cylindrical upper rim and a lower part with six planes to allow clamping on the bottom of the tank with interposition of an intermediate seal 31.

The embodiment shown in Figure 2 comprises, unlike that shown in Figure 1, a connector 33 incorporated in the base 21 and intended to receive an overflow drain tube 35. The overflow full advantageously communicates with the opening also serving as a seat for the valve 23.

The horizontal part 15 of the easel is mounted on feet 17 and 19 adjustable in height. To do this, they have a threaded upper part (19,

20) passing through two perforations made at the ends of the horizontal part 15. The latter is advantageously kept level by each time a lower nut 41 and an upper nut 43.

The rod 25 sliding in the inner tube 5 and integral with the valve 23 has a length such that when the mechanism is adjusted to the highest point, the valve 23 is always sealed in its seat.
