Abstract

The traction-forming elements are used in the aircraftengineering. They improves the manoeuvrability and the economicalcharacteristics of the flying machine. The basic traction-formingelement is mounted to a motor (10) by means of a shaft (11) towhich a hub (1) is mounted. To it propeller blades (2) are mountedwhich in their external end are connected to a ring (3). Scoopingknives (4) are fitted in the space between blades (2), at evendistnaces, at an angle of 5 to 45° to the ring which assist thscooping of the air and pushing it into the desired direction atthe revolutions of the hub (1). The auxiliary traction-formingelement consists of a body (5) to which propeller blades (7) aremounted by means of articulation connections (6). Part of eachblade (7) is fitted on the internal side of body (5). Thespreading and falling back to the body (5) is adjusted by means ofshifting the 3-dimensional position of the inner ending (8) ofblades (7). When torque is formed from the motor (10) the blades(7) by means of shaft (9) are spread out forming traction. Thefeeding of thetorque is controlled by clutch (12).2 claims, 4 figures
