Abstract

The chain is designed for chain transmissions and has greater functionalty potentials. It consists of parallel axles with a pair of parallel (2) plates pivotly connected to each of them by means of intermediate bushings (3) on which rolls (4) rest, being in contact with an operational profile (5) of sprocket (6). In the middle of every axle (1) a lateral axle (7) is fitted perpendicularly on which a pair of coaxial bushings rest having a second pair of parallel plates (9) fixed to them. Rolls (10) rest on bushings (8). The intermediate bushings (3) and rolls (4) of the first axle (1) are shaped as those of the lateral axle (7). Rolls (10) of the lateral axle (7) are in contact with the operational profile (11) of a second sprocket (12), and in the middle there is a circular groove (13).
