Abstract

The invention relates to a device and a method for theelimination of gases such as SO2, NOx, HC1 and/or HF contained inunscrubbed or flue gas (1') from a combustion plant using anevaporation cooler (8). At least one inlet pipe (1) for feedingunscrubbed gas (1') and at least one discharge pipe (5) for thedrained water (5') are connected to the evaporation cooler (8) inthe device. The cooling evaporator (8) operates jointly with atleast one cooling device. The discharge pipe (5) for the drainedwater (5') is directly or indirectly or by means of a flowdistributor (48 or 49) connected to the evaporation cooler (8) inthe direction of the draining of the water (5'), designed in it,and to the secondary reaction chamber (13) in the same directionof the unscrubbed gas (1'). An additional pipe (10) for thereaction gas (10') is connected to the evaporation cooler (8) inthe direction of the flow or on the level of the drained water(5') which connects the evaporation cooler (8) directly orindirectly to reaction chamber (13).
