Description

This utility model refers to a commercial package intended for packaging mainly potatoes or onions.

Potatoes and onions are usually sold packed in mesh bags in small packages between 1 and 5 kg. As an alternative to mesh bags, a partially plastic bag or paper bag with air vents is used.

The packages used so far have shortcomings in terms of protection of potatoes, resp. onion, transport, and product presentation.

The task of the utility model is to make available an improved commercial packaging for potato and / or onion contents.

The utility model consists of a commercial package used for stuffing potatoes or onions, in which the commercial package is made as a folding box, ie. the inner space of the package is limited by the walls of the package.

The application of such a folding box has many advantages over the classic mesh bag:

- protection of potatoes / onions from mechanical damage;

In the preferred embodiment, the package has an expandable unloading chute. In this way, the commercial packaging can be used at the same time as a storage box from which potatoes and onions can be easily taken in an open chute.

Preferably, the unloading chute has an foldable front part and side plates which, when the chute is folded, slide inside the folding box. When opening the potato chute, resp. onions slide in the area of the chute, but are protected from falling out of one front and side plates. Preferably, the chute is arranged on the folding box so that it can be unfolded only to one angle predetermined by the structure.

For this purpose, the plates have a protrusion which, when unfolding the chute, contacts a section of the wall of the folding box and prevents further unfolding of the chute.

The side plates may in particular have a semicircular upper cut line at the end of which a protrusion is located. With the semicircular cut edges, it is possible for the plates to move forward under one section of the wall, while the protrusion serves as a support and provides the groove in a maximum unfolding position. Instead of the semicircular cut line, other arbitrary shapes are possible.

Preferably, the unloading chute covers a partial lower portion of the front wall of the package. In this way, the gutter covers not one complete wall of the package, but only one part of this wall. In FIG. 1 to 5 show an exemplary embodiment according to the utility model of a commercial package 1 and a potato filling 2, respectively resp. onions.

The front side 3 of the package 1, made as a folding box, is divided by a perforation 6 into an upper 4 and a lower section 5, the upper section 4 is also made as an opening lid 4, which closes after loading the package 1. To ensure the closing of the lid 4, a fastening plate 11 (Fig. 2) is provided, which can be slid into a slot 9 formed on a corresponding front edge of the opposite side wall of the package.

In addition, the package 1 has an unloading chute 12 (Fig. 2), which allows the convenient holding of the potatoes, resp. onion from the folding box. The chute 12 has a foldable front part 13, as well as side plates 14, which when unfolding the chute 12 form the side walls of the section of the unloading chute 12. The commercial package 1 in the exemplary embodiment is made of corrugated cardboard and has a parallelepiped shape. In the exemplary embodiment, the height of the front side is greater than the width of the front side, whereby the height and width of the front side are respectively greater than the height of the side walls, resp. the depth of the package 1.

When using the commercial packaging as a storage box, resp. as a donor for potatoes, resp. onion, the folding box 1 is placed on its lower surface and opens upwards on this closing chute. Thus 15 onions, resp. the potatoes are poured into the chute and can be easily taken.

The assembly of the folding box will be described once again in detail by means of the indicated cutting of the material in fig. 6.

The package has four side walls 26-27-28-29, which are interconnected on their respective narrow sides above the fold. The side wall 29 thus has an outer plate 16 with which it connects 25 to the side wall 26 when assembling the cutting material, in particular by gluing.

The bottom of the package 1 is formed by the lower plates 22-23-24-25, wherein in the exemplary embodiment the plates 24 and 25 have respectively folding sections 20, resp. 21, with which they are glued to the adjacent plates 22, resp. 23. The functions are provided by the upper plates on the side walls. The unloading chute 12 is located on the side wall 29, which in use forms the lower side wall. It consists of the unfolding front part 13, which is located above a fold of the side wall 29, as well as the side plates 14. The upper an edge 17 of the front part 13 passes on both sides in an arcuate section 30 of the side plates, on the end of which is respectively a protrusion 18, which provides the groove 12 in a maximum unfolding position.

The front side 3 is located above one edge of the front part 13 above the fold and when closing the chute 12 they slide in the package.

In the exemplary embodiment of FIG. 1, the chute 12 is shown in the closed position of the commercial package 1 and is below the detachable lower section 5 on the front side 3 and is therefore only accessible when this detachable section has moved away.

When separating the lower section 5, the perforated line 6 has a partial section formed as a cut line 7. It serves as a plate that can be pressed and allows the distance of the section 5. The cut line 7 forms a slot in the lower end of the upper section 4 of the front side 3 and thus allows gripping at the rear of the upper end edge of the front part 13 of the chute 12.

In the rest, the section of the upper end edge of the foldable front part 13 of the 20 chute 12 is covered by the lower end edge of the upper section 4 of the front side 3 and thus, also when removing the lower section 5 is still provided in its closed position.
