Abstract

Методът намира приложение по специално за топене на плоско стъкло. Той е екологически чист, като прилагането му предотвратява образуването на шлака по вътрешните стени на огнеупора. Стъкларската шихта и горивото се подават заедно като смес във фазата на предварителното нагряване на шихтата. Горенето се поддържа с подаване на кислород или друг окислител. Предварителното нагряване се провежда във въртяща се пещ, след което материалът преминава във фаза на втечняване. Следва трета фаза на топене, в която може да се проведе повторно окисление за получаване на прозрачно безцветно стъкло.
