Abstract

The planetary gear train box is used in driving transmissions of vehicles. It ensures the realisation of double flow transmission of the torque at increased efficiency, low cost travel at high speeds and easier operation at low speeds under heavy road resistance. The gear train box consists of two planetary mechanisms, three controllable clutches and three controllable brakes. The carrier (11) of the second planetary mechanism is rigidly fixed to the crown gear (14) of the first planetary mechanism and is connected through a second controllable clutch (15) to the turbine wheel (16) of the hydromechanical transmitter. The rotor (17) of the pump is connected with the inlet shaft (2). The sun gear (20) of the second planetary mechanism is connected via a third controllable clutch (21) with the turbine rotor (16) and through a third controllable brake (22) with the body (1).
