Abstract

"MéTODO DE INIBIçãO DE CORROSãO DE EQUIPAMENTOMETáLICO EM UM MEIO AQUOSO E COMPOSIçãO INIBIDORADE CORROSãO BIODEGRADáVEL." Um método e inibidor decorrosão para inibir corrosão de equipamento metálico em um meioaquoso que compreende componentes selecionados a partir dogrupo que consiste em Skeletonema costatum, peixes, outras algase uma combinação dos mesmos. O método compreende aincorporação no meio de uma quantidade inibidora de corrosão deum inibidor de corrosão solúvel em água que compreende umaN-etoxi, 2-substituído imidazolina. O N-etoxi substituintecompreende uma quantidade de óxido de etileno eficaz para tornara imidazolina solúvel em água. o inibidor de corrosão é tornadomais compatível ambientalmente mediante encurtamento donúmero de átomos de carbono na cadeia de ácido graxo naposição-2 da imidazolina. A cadeia de ácido graxo consisteessencialmente em aproximadamente 18 átomos de carbono oumenos, de preferência aproximadamente 10 átomos de carbono oumenos, mais preferivelmente de aproximadamente 6 aaproximadamente 8 átomos de carbono. Quando o número deátomos de carbono na cadeia de ácido graxo é reduzido, aeficácia do inibidor de corrosão aumenta mediante combinaçãocom um agente umectante, de preferência um álcool etoxilado comde aproximadamente 8 a aproximadamente 10 átomos de carbono.
