Abstract

"UNIDADE DE ILUMINAçãO PARA AERONAVES UTILIZANDO LEDS". Trata-se de uma unidade ótica destinada a uma luz de advertência em aeronaves, que compreende uma sequência de LEDs (diodos emissores de luz), onde esta unidade compreende um corpo moldado de plástico transparente, tendo primeira e segunda faces opostas e sendo munido de recursos óticos sobre sua primeira e, opcionalmente, ainda, sobre sua segunda face, para que se propaguem frações de luz emitidas a partir dos LEDs, em direções selecionadas, de acordo com uma distribuição angular predeterminada. Os recursos óticos podem adotar a forma de lentes distintas convexas, por exemplo, lentes anesféricas cilíndricas, prismas ou estruturas de reflexão interna total, bem como suas combinações, selecionadas de acordo com as demandas de emissão de luz de advertência. A unidade ótica, portanto, irá diferir, dependendo se seu uso for destinado a uma luz de navegação ou uma luz anti-colisão e, de um modo geral, ficará separada da sequência de LEDs a uma distância fixa predeterminada.
