Abstract
"DISPOSITIVO DE ACOPLAMENTO óTICO". Dispositivo de acoplamento ótico para injetar luz entre duas faces extremas de guias de ondas óticas, em que a posição geométrica de uma face extrema de guia de onda ótica com relação à outra face extrema de guia de onda ótica pode ser variada com o auxílio de um elemento de comprimento variável. O elemento transporta um de dois guias de ondas óticas e é preso ao outro guia de onda ótica através de um bloco de sustentação. O elemento de comprimento variável é mantido por um elemento de mola, que esponjosa ou porosamente projetado e que é suportado direta ou indiretamente em pelo menos um dos blocos de sustentação e permite movimentos do elemento de comprimento variável na direção de comprimento do elemento de comprimento variável, em que o elemento de comprimento variável é estendido ou encurtado, e impede o movimento do elemento de comprimento variável perpendicular à direção de comprimento do elemento de comprimento variável. O elemento de mola é esponjosa ou porosamente projetado.
