Abstract

"PROCESSO PARA TRATAR TABACO BURLEY E CAULE DE TABACO SOMENTE OU TABACO EM LâMINA CURADO POR CALOR SOMENTE, MATERIAL DE FUMAR E ARTIGO DE FUMAR". Esta invenção descreve um processo de secagem pressurizada particularmente útil para a modificação do aroma do tabaco Burley, e do gosto e do odor de cigarros compreendendo tal tabaco processado. O tabaco Burley é tratado em um secador pressurizado em temperaturas de 120<198>C ou maiores em uma faixa de pressão absoluta de 25-700 kPa para proporcionar um tabaco Burley processado com um caráter mais tostado.
