Um método e sistema para refrigerar e efetuar mudança no estado de uma mistura líquida (2), onde a mistura líquida (2) é atomizada para formar uma mistura líquida atomizada (29), a qual é refrigerada para mudar seu estado físico; a refrigeração é realizada utilizando-se, substancialmente, meios gasosos refrigeradores.
