Abstract

"MéTODO E SISTEMA PARA A SIMULAçãO DE UMA FORMAçãO PORTADORA DE HIDROCARBONETO". A invenção é um método para simular uma ou mais características de uma formação portadora de hidrocarboneto, de multicomponentes, para dentro da qual um fluido de deslocamento possuindo pelo menos um componente é injetado para deslocar os hidrocarbonetos da formação (Fig. 1, item 5) . A primeira etapa do método é equacionar pelo menos parte da formação a uma multiplicidade de células-grades (Fig. 2, item 10). Cada célula grade é em seguida dividida na forma de duas regiões, a primeira região representando uma parte de cada célula-grade varrida pelo fluido de deslocamento (Fig. 3, item 16) e uma segunda região representando uma parte de cada célula-grade essencialmente não varrida pelo fluido de deslocamento 9, item 17). A distribuição dos componentes em cada região é assumida ser essencialmente uniforme. Um modelo é construído, o qual é representativo das propriedades do fluido contido dentro de cada região, do fluxo de fluido entre as células-grades usando os princípios da teoria de percolação, e do transporte dos componentes entre as regiões. O modelo é usado em um simulador para simular uma ou mais características da formação.
