Abstract

"CODIFICAçãO DE ENVELOPE ESPECTRAL USANDO RESOLUçãO DE TEMPO-FREQuêNCIA VARIáVEL E MUDANçA DE TEMPO-FREQuêNCIA". A presente invenção provê um novo método e aparelho para codificação de um envelope espectral. A invenção mostra como realizar e sinalizar de modo compacto um mapeamento de tempo-freq³ência de representação de envelope, e adicionalmente codificar dados de envelope espectral usando codificação direcional de tempo-freq³ência adaptativa o método é aplicável a ambos, sistema de codificação de áudio natural e sistema de codificação de voz, e sendo especialmente adequado para codificadores usando SBR [WO 98/ 57436] ou outros métodos de reconstrução de alta freq³ência.
