Abstract
"PROCESSO PARA A REDUçãO DE ORGANISMOS DANOSOS EM FLUXOS D'áGUA". O tratamento de água com a finalidade de reduzir organismos nocivos, como algas, moluscos e organismos formadores de viscosidades, mediante adição de uma solução contendo ácido peroxicarboxílico, é conhecido. De acordo com a presente invenção, fluxos de água, em particular fluxos de água de arrefecimento, são tratados de modo económico juntando-se o agente de tratamento à água corrente uma vez a cada 5 até 100 horas por um período de tempo de 3 até 60 minutos, em uma quantidade correspondente a pelo menos 1 ppm de ácido peroxicarboxílico.
