Abstract

"LAMINADO RESPIRáVEL PERMANENTEMENTE QUE SE MOLDA AOS CONTORNOS DE UM USUáRIO". Esta invenção refere-se a um laminado respirável substancialmente impermeável a líquido que é permanentemente moldado aos contornos do corpo de um usuário quando usado em um artigo absorvente de higiene pessoal ou em um artigo médico. O laminado inclui uma película respirável (preferivelmente microporosa) e uma trama não-trançada fibrosa. Tanto a película como a trama são extensíveis em uma direção transversal até uma largura pelo menos 25% maior do que uma largura original não-estirada após aplicação de uma força de estiramento. A trama e a película, e todo o laminado, apresentam pouca ou nenhuma força retrátil desde que tenham sido estirados. Uma fralda ou outra peça de vestuário pode ser fabricada menor do que o tamanho normal mediante utilização do laminado, o que permite economia de material. Quando a peça de vestuário é usada, o laminado estira-se apenas o necessário para propiciar um ajuste substancialmente perfeito ao usuário. A força retrátil mínima evita as marcas vermelhas, erupções, etc. que podem ser provocadas por peças de vestuário com elástico.
