Abstract

"MéTODO PARA TêMPERA DE CHAPAS DE LIGA PARA MINIMIZAR DISTORçõES". A invenção refere-se a um método para produção de um artigo de chapa ou outro artigo alongado de uma liga de alumínio termicamente tratada e solução substancialmente livre de distorções térmicas permanentes. O artigo é submetido a um tratamento térmico em solução a uma temperatura de solubilização para dissolver os precipitados presentes na liga, resfriado em um gás da temperatura de solubilização até uma temperatura crítica superior abaixo da qual a precipitação das partículas da segunda fase da liga pode ocorrer, também resfriado em um líquido da temperatura superior até uma temperatura crítica inferior abaixo da qual a precipitação dos componentes pode não mais ocorrer, e opcionalmente adicionalmente resfriado até uma temperatura abaixo da temperatura crítica inferior. O resfriamento do artigo no gás é executado a uma taxa de resfriamento na qual o limite de resistência à tração do artigo permanece suficientemente alto para resistir à deformação permanente causada pelo estresse térmico gerado dentro do artigo pelo resfriamento.
