Abstract

"DISPOSITIVO DE ILUMINAçãO PARA INSTALAçãO EM UMA SUPERFìCIE PLANA". A presente invenção se refere a um dispositivo de iluminação para instalação em uma superfície substancialmente plana (101), compreendendo pelo menos um dispositivo de lâmpada (8) que emite luz essencialmente numa direção de luz que forma um ângulo (<225>) com uma face de saída (121) de um único meio de refração (1) no dispositivo de lâmpada (8). O dispositivo de lâmpada compreende uma fonte de luz (107) que emite luz na direção de uma face incidente (114) do meio de refração de luz (1), em que o meio de refração (1) apresenta uma direção longitudinal coincidente com a dita direção de luz e em que a face de saída (121) é aproximadamente paralela à superfície substancialmente plana (101). A face de saída (121) é estabelecida com um ligeiro ângulo de inclinação (<sym>) relativo à superfície substancialmente plana (101), o ângulo (<225>) e o ângulo de inclinação (<sym>) em combinação, fazem com que a luz da fonte de luz (107) seja trazida para um ângulo emergente acima da superfície (101), que satisfaça às exigências previamente estabelecidas para intensidade de luz próximo à superfície (101). Um prisma é também descrito, em que pelo menos uma borda formada entre a face de saída (121) do prisma e uma face lateral (10) , que forma um ângulo agudo com a face de saída (121), é arredondada.
