Abstract

"FABRICAçãO DE GAXETA DE BLINDAGEM EMI DE FORMAçãO NO LUGAR, DE FORçA DE FECHAMENTO BAIXA". Um método de formar uma gaxeta de força de fechamento baixa possuindo pontos de contato altos e baixos alternados. A gaxeta é formada no lugar (FIP) em uma superfície de um substrato como um friso de uma composição elastomérica curável que é descarregada sob uma pressão aplicada do orifício de um bocal. O bocal é móvel com relação à superfície do substrato ao longo de pelo menos um primeiro eixo disposto em geral paralelo à superfície do substrato, e, opcionalmente, ao longo de um segundo eixo disposto em geral perpendicular à superfície do substrato. O bocal é movido a uma velocidade predeterminada ao longo do primeiro eixo, e, opcionalmente, ao longo do segundo eixo para aplicar o friso ao longo de uma dada trajetória no substrato. Um ou mais da pressão aplicada, a velocidade de movimento do bocal ao longo do primeiro eixo, e o movimento do bocal ao longo do segundo eixo são controlados para aplicar o friso em uma série periódica de intervalos altos e baixos alternados com relação à superfície do substrato. A composição elastomérica então é curada sob pressão substancialmente atmosférica para formar a gaxeta na superfície de substrato, com os altos intervalos do friso definindo os pontos de contato altos da gaxeta, e com os intervalos baixos do friso definindo as partes de contato baixo da gaxeta.
