Abstract
"DISPOSITIVO PARA REDUZIR UMA LENTE OFTáLMICA DENTRO DA CáPSULA DE LENTE DE UM OLHO DE MAMìFERO, DISPOSITIVO MéDICO E SISTEMA DE TURBINA PNEUMáTICA DE VELOCIDADE VARIáVEL". Esta invenção é um sistema (20) para remover a lente de um olho de um mamífero, incluindo um dispositivo para remoção de lente (30) tendo uma sonda (28) para penetrar a cápsula de lente. A sonda (28) inclui um revestimento (120) que protege um rotor rotativo (128) todo instante, com o rotor (128) sendo pneumaticamente atuado para avançar para uma posição de remoção de lente com o revestimento (120). O rotor (128) é pneumaticamente girado usando um mecanismo de turbina dentro de um cabo para a sonda. Irrigação e aspiração são providas para facilitar remoção do tecido da lente. A turbina é acionada com ar em pulsos para evitar estriamento. Uma tampa de purga/proteção auxilia a remover bolhas de ar do sistema antes do uso, e protege o rotor delicado durante transporte. Um sistema operacional também é provido com um atuador por pedal (32).
