Abstract
"MéTODO PARA ENGATE CONTROLADO DE EMBREAGEM DE ACIONAMENTO DE TURBOCOMPRESSOR". Um sistema de embreagem de turbocompressor tem um alojamento de embreagem (52) no qual um pacote de embreagem (84) está disposto para transmitir torque a partir de uma entrada, tal como uma polia (66), para uma das engrenagens de sincronização (58). O pacote de embreagem (84) está disposto dentro de uma gaiola (92), tendo um membro de assento de mola (98) adjacente ao mesmo. Um conjunto de molas (104) pressiona o membro de assento e a gaiola de embreagem (92) para engatar o pacote de embreagem (84). No lado oposto, axialmente, do pacote de embreagem existe um pistão (76) incluindo uma porção (80) envolvendo a gaiola de embreagem (92) e contatando o membro de assento (98). O pistão (76) e o alojamento de embreagem (52) definem uma câmara de pressão (106) que, quando pressurizada, provoca movimento do pistão em uma direção comprimindo as molas (104) e desengatando o pacote de embreagem. A invenção provê um método para controlar o sistema de embreagem por meio de uma válvula eletro-hidráulica (110) que pode comunicar a câmara de pressão (106) a que alta pressão (112) ou baixa pressão (132). A válvula (110) é controlada detectando a posição do acelerador (141) e modificando um sinal de comando (130) para uma bobina (126) da válvula (110) em resposta à posição do acelerador (1410, tal que a taxa de engate possa ser modulada em resposta à posição do acelerador.
