Abstract

"USO DE PILOTOS EM SISTEMAS DE ACESSO MúLTIPLO DEESPALHAMENTO ESPECTRAL BASEADOS EMMULTIPLEXAçãO ORTOGONAL POR DIVISãO DEFREQuêNCIA". A sincronização de enlaces descendentes e aidentificação de estações base são realizadas mediante o uso depilotos que incluam símbolos conhecidos transmitidos em tons defreq³ências prescritos em intervalos de tempo prescritosindividuais. Especificamente, os símbolos usados nos pilotos estãoindividualmente localizados em uma grade tempo-freq³ência, ondeas localizações são especificadas por seq³ências periódicas dealimentação de tons pilotos. Em uma modalidade especifica dainvenção, um período de uma seq³ência de alimentação de tonspilotos é construído mediante as etapas de começar com umaseq³ência de alimentação baseada em quadrado Latino, truncá-laao longo do tempo e possivelmente deslocá-la e permutá-la aolongo da freq³ência. Exemplos específicos de seq³ências dealimentação de tons pilotos são seq³ências de alimentação deinclinações paralelas nas quais a periodicidade das seq³ências éselecionada para ser um número primo de intervalos de tempo desímbolos. Em outra modalidade da invenção, é utilizada umanoção de pilotos fantasmas para facilitar o uso de váriosparâmetros de sistema enquanto acomodando as seq³ências dealimentação de tons pilotos mencionadas acima. Este problema é superado mediante otruncamento das seq³ências de alimentação de tons pilotossempre que a freq³ência do tom exceder a largura de faixa, isto é,designando estes tons como tons pilotos fantasmas e não ostransmitindo.
