Abstract
"MéTODO PARA OPERAR UM SISTEMA DE COMUNICAçãO SEM FIO PARA SERVIR UMA PLURALIDADE DE TERMINAIS DE USUáRIOS UTILIZANDO UMA PLURALIDADE DE PORTADORAS". O sistema e método da presente invenção utilizam uma pluralidade de portadoras ao designar terminais de usuário à pluralidade de portadoras de modo que um grau mínimo de serviço é satisfeito e de modo que a produtividade é maximizada. Cada terminal de usuário em serviço reporta a qualidade de canal de cada uma da pluralidade de portadoras para uma estação base(s) de serviço. As qualidades de canal reportadas são então convertidas em velocidades de dados máximas suportadas para cada um dos terminais de usuário e cada uma das portadoras. Essas velocidades de dados são então utilizadas para alocar níveis de serviço de dados e velocidades de dados para cada um dos terminais de usuário de modo que um grau mínimo de serviço é satisfeito para cada um dos terminais de usuário. Transmissões de enlace de encaminhamento, por exemplo, pacotes de quadros/dados portados em canais de encaminhamento (F-CHs) são então construídos e transmitidos para satisfazer as alocações.
