Abstract
"EQUIPAMENTO DENTáRIO E MéTODO DE OPERAçãO DESSE EQUIPAMENTO". Esta invenção refere-se a um equipamento dentário, que compreende uma unidade dentária, que tem um arranjo de linhas de água e aparelhos dentários associados; e um dispositivo eletrolítico, para a produção de uma solução aquosa microcida ativada de forma eletrolítica, para uso na eliminação e no controle de um biofilme em linhas de água de unidade dentária, a solução sendo caracterizada pelo fato de ter um pH entre 6,75 e 10, com propriedades microcidas, bem como antioxidantes, de dispersão e tensoativas, tomando a solução biocompatível e não corrosiva, bem como capaz de eliminar um biofilme em linhas de água de unidade dentária, enquanto simultaneamente dispersa e desaloja o biofilme das linhas de água, de modo a reduzir os microorganismos para um nível predeterminado de microorganismos na água dentária; e um meio para a introdução da solução aquosa nas linhas de água, para o tratamento do biofilme. A invenção ainda refere-se a essa solução, a um meio de distribuição, um procedimento dentário e a um método para a eliminação do biofilme.
