Abstract

"MéTODO E APARELHO PARA A MAXIMIZAçãO DE TEMPO DE ESPERA EM ESTAçõES REMOTAS CONFIGURADAS PARA RECEBER MENSAGENS DE RAJADA DE DADOS DE DIFUSãO". Um sistema de telecomunicações sem fio que inclui uma estação base, uma pluralidade de estações remotas, um primeiro canal para mensagens de paging geral contendo informação de paging e referências de mensagem de rajada de dados de difusão, e um canal auxiliar para indicadores de notificação de rajada de dados de difusão para fins de aumentar o tempo de espera nas estações remotas configuradas para receber mensagens de rajadas de dados de difusão. O canal auxiliar em uma modalidade é um sinal de espectro espalhado de seq³ência direta modulado, de chaveamento liga-desliga (OOK) não codificado. Em outra modalidade os indicadores de notificação de rajada de dados de difusão são um ou mais bits indicadores determinados no canal auxiliar para indicar para uma estação remota se precisa examinar o primeiro canal em busca de referências de mensagem de rajada de dados de difusão. Em outra modalidade, os indicadores de notificação de rajada de dados de difusão são multiplexados em um canal de paging rápida juntamente com os indicadores de notificação de paging de entrada. Em outra modalidade ilustrativa um novo canal é utilizado para a transmissão de indicadores de notificação de rajada de dados de difusão.
