Abstract

"MéTODO PARA PROTEGER INSTALAçõES SUBMARINAS CONTRA RESFRIAMENTO E CONJUNTO TERMICAMENTE ISOLANTE ADAPTADO PARA PROTEGER INSTALAçõES SUBMARINAS CONTRA RESFRIAMENTO". Um método para proteger instalações submarinas contra resfriamento que leva à formação de hidrato, em particular durante suspensões da produção. Isto é obtido isolando termicamente partes da instalação (1) em relação à água que circunda (2) e particularmente por envolver completamente a instalação submarina (1) por meio de uma tampa (3) a qual sela contra a água circundante (2). A tampa (3) compreende vários elementos dos quais cada um separadamente poderá ser exposto a um resfriamento e formação interna de hidrato. A invenção compreende também um dispositivo para isolar termicamente, adaptado para a proteção de instalações submarinas (1) contra resfriamento, o qual envolve o risco de formação de hidrato. Um dispositivo (3, 9) para implantar o processo compreende uma tampa (3) relativamente estanque que envolve pelo menos dois dos elementos a serem protegidos do resfriamento. Deste modo, a água no interior da tampa (3) é mantida de forma separada da água circundante (29) e distribui uniformemente a energia de calor presente sob a tampa (3) para todos os elementos envolvidos pela mencionada tampa.
