Abstract

"PROCESSO PARA PREPARAR óLEO VEGETAL INSUFLADO". A presente invenção refere-se a um método para refinar parcialmente um óleo vegetal bruto, utilizando técnicas de refinamento físico. O óleo vegetal bruto é primeiramente desgomado (1) permitindo-se que o óleo assente por um período de tempo, como vinte minutos, para que o óleo fique estratificado em pelo menos duas camadas, sendo que uma camada compreende gomas com baixo teor de óleo e uma segunda camada compreende óleo contendo somente uma fração das gomas originalmente presentes e depois separar a camada de óleo da camada de goma, ou (2) aquecer o óleo bruto até uma temperatura de cerca de 270-300<198>F com agitação e depois deixar que o óleo assente por um período de tempo até que o óleo fique estratificado em pelo menos duas camadas. O óleo desgomado é então aerado e agitado enquanto está sendo mantido a uma temperatura de 170-180<198>F por um período de tempo suficiente para obter uma viscosidade de óleo desejada. O óleo parcialmente refinado resultante é adequado para uso em aplicações industriais, tais como a preparação de espumas de uretano.
