Abstract

"EQUIPAMENTO PARA ALIMENTAR COM METAL EM FUSãO UMA LINGOTEIRA DE FUNDIçãO CONTìNUA E SEU PROCESSO DE UTILIZAçãO". A presente invenção refere-se ao equipamento que compreende um bocal imerso (6) com aberturas de saída no plano principal de fundição (p) diferenciadas por sua direção de saída em pelo menos duas categorias (7,8) associado a dois indutores (14, 15) diante um do outro sobre a face maior (22) da lingoteira de fundição, formando um entreferro circunscrito ao bocal e produzindo um campo magnético atravessador que cobre as aberturas de pelo menos uma categoria (7), meios sendo previstos para regular a intensidade do campo ou para deslocá-lo de maneira a poder modificar a repartição entre as aberturas da vazão total de metal em fusão. Em particular, a aplicação da invenção permite ajustar a qualquer momento a fração da vazão de metal que se dirige para a superfície livre (9) em relação àquela, principal, voltada para baixo da lingoteira. A invenção se aplica vantajosamente à fundição contínua de lingotes de aço.
