Abstract

"COMPOSTO DE NAFTOPIRANO E ARTIGO FOTOCROMáTICO". A presente invenção descreve novos compostos de naftopirano hidroxilados ou carboxilados fotocromáticos, exemplos dos quais são determinadas 2H-nafto[1,2-b]piranos, 3H-nafto[2,1b]piranos e indeno[2,1-f]nafto[1,2-b]piranos cada uma das quais dotada pelo menos de um substituinte hidroxilado/carboxilado. Substituintes específicos estão também presentes nas porções de nafta, indeno e/ou pirano dos compostos. Os referidos compostos podem ser representados pelas seguintes fórmulas gráficas: Também são descritos diversos substratos, por exemplo, papel, vidro, materiais orgânicos poliméricos, etc., que contêm ou que são revestidos com os referidos compostos. Artigos oticamente claros tais como lentes de contato ou outras transparências plásticas que incorporam os novos compostos naftopiranos ou combinações dos mesmos com compostos fotocromáticos complementares, por exemplo, determinadas outras naftopiranos, indenonaftopiranos, benzopiranos, compostos do tipo oxazina, etc., são também descritos.
