Abstract

"COMPOSIçõES DE ESPUMA A PARTIR DE UMA MESCLA DE POLìMEROS AROMáTICOS ALQUENìLICOS E INTERPOLìMEROS AROMáTICOS ALFA-OLEFìNICOS/VINìLICOS OU VINILIDêNICOS". Descreve-se uma composição polimérica espumável que compreende: (al) um interpolímero substancialmente aleatório produzido a partir de (i) um ou mais monómeros <244> olefínicos e (ii) um ou mais monómeros aromáticos vinílicos ou vinilidênicos e/ou um ou mais monómeros vinílicos ou vinilidênicos alifáticos ou ciclo-alifáticos estericamente impedidos, e opcionalmente (iii) outro monómero ou outros monómeros com insaturação etilênica polimerizáveis, ou (a2) um interpolímero que compreende unidades polimerizadas de etileno e acetato de vinila, ou (a3) uma combinação dos polímeros (al) e (a2) e (b) um poli(diorganossiloxano) com uma viscosidade de pelo menos 1 milhão de centistokes a 25 <198>C, e (c) um agente espumante. o poli(diorganossiloxano) é útil para melhorar a resistência à abrasão de espumas que compreendem o interpolímero substancialmente aleatório (al) e/ou o interpolímero de etileno e acetato de vinila (a2).
