Abstract
"MONITORAçãO DA CONDIçãO DO FREIO". Um sistema e um método para a monitoração das aplicações dos freios, por exemplo, de uma aeronave, para a determinação da condição do freio e para operar um programa de manutenção de freios ou tributar um usuário de um sistema de frenagem. é desejável ter uma informação precisa para a determinação da condição e para a previsão da vida útil de discos de freio de carbono-carbono. Isso é importante para a segurança, bem como por razões comerciais. O número de aterrissagens de uma aeronave, freq³entemente, é usado como um determinante para garantias de tempo de vida para discos de freio e períodos de manutenção recomendados. Entretanto, pelo menos para os freios a disco de carbono, isso pode não ser inteiramente preciso. Por exemplo, esses discos de freio também se desgastam durante o taxiamento.
