Abstract

"ALOJAMENTO PARA UM ELEMENTO SENSOR SìSMICO E SENSOR SìSMICO". Um alojamento para um elemento sensor sísmico (3) para uso na superfície terrestre compreende meios conectores (5) para conectar o alojamento (3) a um cabo suporte (2) de modo a permitir movimento relativo entre o alojamento de sensor (3) e o cabo (2). Isto desacopla o alojamento de sensor do cabo suporte, e melhora a fidelidade do sensor. Os meios conectores (5) preferivelmente compreendem elementos conectores resilientes, para impedir a transmissão de vibrações entre o cabo suporte e o alojamento de sensor. O alojamento de sensor (3) preferivelmente tem uma base plana (1), tal que exista uma boa acoplagem entre o alojamento de sensor e a terra. Alternativamente, o alojamento de sensor pode ser montado com um membro base (24a, 24b, 24c) que tem pelo menos uma face plana (26, 26a, 26b, 26c).
