Abstract

"UM DISPOSITIVO PARA O TRATAMENTO CATALìTICO DE UM FLUXO DE GáS". A presente invenção se refere a um dispositivo para o tratamento catalítico de um fluxo de gás compreendendo pelo menos um corpo (1, 17) que inclui um material catalítico. O dispositivo possui um número de primeiras aberturas (5, 50) tanto para entrada de gás para dentro ou quanto para saída de gás a partir do referido corpo catalisador (1, 17), e uma segunda abertura (6) tanto para saída do gás entrando através das primeiras aberturas ou quanto para entrada de gás para dentro do referido corpo catalisador (1, 17) para subseq³ente saída através das primeiras aberturas. As primeiras aberturas (5, 50) estão abertas na direção exterior, a partir do referido corpo catalisador (1, 17), sobre uma porção do corpo em uma distância a partir de uma primeira superfície delimitante (7) do mesmo, superfície delimitante na direção da qual o corpo está adaptado para guiar pelo menos algum do gás entrando. o corpo catalisador (1, 17) possui uma configuração alongada, e a referida primeira superfície delimitante define um primeiro terminal (7) do corpo.
