Abstract
"PROCEDIMENTO PARA A PRODUçãO DE AçOS INOXIDáVEIS, PARTICULARMENTE AçO CROMO E AçO CROMO-NìQUEL, FINOS". A invenção se refere a um procedimento para a produção de aços inoxidávies, especialmente aços cromo e aços cromo-níquel em uma unidade de fundição apresentando um recipiente metalúrgico ou em uma unidade de produção apresentando no mínimo dois recipientes de processamento (2,3) para o abastecimento de uma unidade de produção de aço, nos quais se acionam, alternadamente, um processo de forno de arco elétrico (1) e um processo de sopro (11). Para tornar este procedimento mais económico deve-se iniciar uma operação reversível da escória não reduzida do conversor na operação era forno de arco elétrico. Para isto a escória com alto teor de cromo (19) no primeiro passo do processamento, é fundida juntamente com a fusão do lote acrescentado, a escória de alto teor de cromo durante o processo de fusão com silício e carbono é reduzida sob condições termodinâmicas favoráveis do arco voltaico, assim que a massa fundida atingir uma temperatura máxima de 1490 <198>C e a escória é eliminada. Depois, o processo de sopro é conduzido, em que o teor de carbono da massa fundida é reduzido até um valor inferior a 0,9%. Em uma temperatura de vazamento de 1620<198>C a 1720<198>C a massa fundida (18) é vazada, restando a escória de alto teor de cromo (19) não reduzida do processo de sopro no recipiente de processamento.
