Abstract

"SISTEMA E MéTODO PARA IDENTIFICAR A POSIçãO DE TERMINAIS MóVEIS". A presente invenção relaciona-se a um sistema (10) e método para identificar a posição de telefones celulares (12) em uma área geográfica servida por uma rede de telefonia móvel (14). O sistema (10) compreende um centro de localização móvel (15) capaz de analisar informação sobre o campo eletromagnético (RF) transmitido por telefones celulares (12) com informação de referência que inclui tanto a informação de RF como informação probabilística associada à morfologia da área geográfica. O método envolve a designação de pesos diferentes à localização de telefones celulares (12) como uma função da informação de referência probabilìstica, e assim torna possível utilizar métodos estatísticos para resolver situações de ambig³idade na localização de telefones celulares que de outra forma seriam resolvidos de modo puramente aleatório.
